About Cumilla University
Cumilla University (Bengali: কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a public university located at Kotbari, Cumilla, Bangladesh. The university was constructed on 50 acres (200,000 m2) of land at Lalmai Bihar, Moynamoti. Cumilla University is affiliated by University Grants Commission, Bangladesh. It started with 7 functional departments. Now there are a total of 19 departments including Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, English, Bengal, Economics, Public Administration, Anthropology, Mass Communication & Journalism, Archaeology, Management Studies, Accounting & Information Systems (AIS), Marketing, Finance and Banking, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Law.
